A custom bag and time lock to secure your device for a set period of time.

A lot of people find that their device usage is getting out of hand, and need an extra strategy or tool to help them reduce their screen time and increase their: productivity / sleep / relationship /wellbeing [take your pick!]

*Of course, if you don't have any issue with your device usage and don't want to be able to lock your item away, then we definitely wouldn't recommend using our product!

Yes! And thats a great place for everyone to start! Especially seeing how much screen time your using on average, and the typical daily unlocks! Both Apple and Android have greatly improved their digital wellness controls!

Android:
To track screen time, go to Settings > Digital Wellbeing & parental controls > menu > Manage your data > toggle on Daily device usage.

Apple:
go to Settings > Screen Time and tap See All Activity under the graph. From there, you can see your usage, set limits for your most used apps, and see how many times a device was picked up or received a notification

However, it seems that for some people, they want a bit more balance with their screen time, and so our Break-Bags are one way to develop some new habits!

Everyone's needs are different of course, however a lot of feedback that we receive shows that our Break-Bags are helpful when:

● Developing a new sleep routine, and locking the phone outside of the bedroom to stay locked until early morning. Eg. Set it at the same time each night, eg. 9pm and set it for 4 hours [so ideally you should be fast asleep by the time it unlocks]

● During family mealtimes [when all of the family locks up devices for a set period eg. 30 mins] Use the time to actually chat with your family or friends, and taste the delicious foods that your eating!

● At school / home during heavy revision sessions, when you need to have some deep focus and avoid all distractions.

● In the office during busy periods, to have black out times when you are fully
engaged on your individual work without phone distractions.

Our top suggestion is of course, not to use the Break Bag if you are expecting an important call or message! The Bags are designed to be tamper resistant and there is no way to open the timer lock once it is set, this is purposely designed to remove another level of temptation and distraction.

But, If you do need to open the bag for an absolute emergency, then a sharp pair of scissors or craft knife will do the trick. Just cut open the fabric, then if you're comfortable, you're welcome
to reach out to us about the incident, and send in a picture of the damaged bag, we can try our best to sort you out with a replacement.

The bag is made of Ecopak EPX200 which is a highly durable and waterproof fabric, and used in a huge range of applications. It is 100% recycled polyester fiber and film and each yard upcycles around 20 plastic water bottles into the textile. So the material is ready for all of the elements, but of course you will have noticed the metal eyelet on the rear for your charging cable, so please keep that in mind and don't
throw it in your swimming pool to test the waterproofness!
